Cortendorf Parrot

This parrot, or cockatoo, was made by the Cortendorf manufacturer in Germany. The company was taken over by Goebel.

Not everything with 'Foreign' stamped on the bottom is cheap (pun not intended).

I've got a friend who has one of these parrots, he said it fell off the back of a pirate ship.
