4½ inches high
I don't know if these items were given pattern names or not. It has a 'Concertina' shape name but I can't hear the music when I squeeze it.
Perhaps when I sell it I might hear some music. Saying that, whenever I put my ear to it, I can hear strange hissing noises. The same thing happens when I try to play a real Concertina.
Carn pottery was set up in Cornwall in 1971 by John Beusmans and I believe the studio is still going today.
There's no Beusmans signature on this piece and the size of it is smaller than the other Concertina vases. Typical, trust me to have a littler one.
There's a completely different pattern on the other side. The faint mark reads: 'CARN POTTERY NANCLEDRA PENZANCE CORNWALL'
What I wouldn't give for a Cornish pasty right now!
Value probably around £10-20
